Copenhagen is ranked the number ONE city in the world in bike culture. This was a perfect opportunity to continue my yet unpublished series of bike portraits. A 10-day visit to this Danish city provided ample opportunity for wandering and capturing bicycles in various states throughout the city. Apparently, most people own more than one bicycle and some often leave one at either side of their train commute. For it being a bike friendly city, it was not an overwhelming place of chaos. The bike lanes are orderly and clearly marked. The images in part 1 are cropped compositions based on the surrounding elements in combination with the bicycle element.
